Claudio Cortese was born in 1991 in Bari (IT).
He graduated in 2016 from Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio AAM USI (CH).
In 2012, he spent a year in Tenerife (ES) working for Menis Arquitectos, while being a teaching assistant at Universidad Europea de Canaria (UEC).
From 2016, he has been living in Belgium between Gent and Bruxelles (BE), working for architecten de vylder vinck taillieu and Baukunst.
He founded this practice together with Barbara Mazza in 2020.
Barbara Mazza was born in 1992 in Como (IT).
She graduated in 2017 from Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio AAM USI (CH).
In 2013 she spent a year in Lisbon (PT) where she worked for Francisco Aires Mateus Arquitectos.
From 2017, she has been living in Belgium between Gent and Bruxelles (BE), working for architecten de vylder vinck taillieu and DOGMA.
From 2018-2020, she was a teaching assistant at the chair of Jan De Vylder at ETH Zürich (CH).
She founded this practice together with Claudio Cortese in 2020.
